Best Buddies
Last night after the Best Buddies event, I was asked to be an officer for next year! It’s been bittersweet this year, since a lot of the organization reminds me of my sister, but also good because I know I’m a part of what she loved, so I was unsure of whether I was going to keep at it next year. But I’m accepting. Now I just need to decide whether I want to be event coordinator, or member coordinator. The event position would be planning, supervising and documenting events, and the member position makes sure everyone’s participating, working with everyone in the group, and overseeing the friendship updates each month. I’ll probably pick the member coordinator, since I like working with people. We’ll see, though.
