So today didn’t completely suck.
Which is always a good thing, right? :)
I was originally dreading babysitting, since it’s been months since I’d done it last. It was fine, though. He’s a cute little 4 year old. We basically just watched movies, then went outside and ran around and stuff. It was pretty fun. And I got $20 for it, which I can use for the concert tickets I still need to buy… haha. It’s for the Panic/FOB/Blink concert for my hometown. <3333 My heart almost exploded when I saw that they were coming here.
After babysitting, I went to Walgreens with my friend Biz (Elizabeth) and then hung out at the local park. We sat on the swings for a bit and talked, mainly badmouthing the obnoxious group of males that were trying to act all cool but failing… *shakes head* Ridiculous. But anyway, the sky looked like it wanted to cry (rain) so we just ran back to my house. Biz wanted to show me a video on youtube, but my bro was using it so we had to wait. So we were in my room talking about stupid but funny movies and politics. …Yeah, I don’t know why we were talking about politics either. -__-; Then we went on the computer for a bit. She showed me a 5 Centimeters Per Second (anime movie) AMV using the song “I Miss You” by Lifehouse. It’s almost scary how well it fits. And since I haven’t had her sleep over in a while, I asked my mom if she could sleep over on Sunday night. She said that it’s fine, as long as I clean my room first. Well, since Biz still had another two hours at my house before being picked up, we decided to get a head start.
…I have a floor now. It’s freaking amazing. We also cleaned out the top of my huge desk thing, and the areas around my desk. Biz was completely fine with cleaning. Which is awesome because I would have lost motivation after five minutes if she wasn’t there harassing me. xDD So my room is clean (mostly, we still have to get to my closet, aka the dark abyss) so she’s allowed to sleep over. Huzzah.
My final highlight is… I made cupcakes! They’re confetti cupcakes with vanilla frosting and sprinkles. <33 The frosting was a little too sweet for my taste, but they still turned out the best so far.
Future plans:
tomorrow: most likely, graduation party for one of my senior friends. I always get hesitant when going to parties because I have the crappiest social skills ever. I get uncomfortable with groups of over 4 people at once. It’s bad. :/
Sunday: graduation (we play pomp and circumstance for band) and Biz sleepover
Monday: Summer Creative Writing Club meeting
And then flute sectionals for marching band starts on the 23rd, and goes every Tuesday pretty much. This is pretty long, but oh well. I don’t talk that much in real life so my blogs and stuff make up for it.
